Meeting Description: A combination of lecture, live tele-surgery and fresh cadaver dissection to convey the latest techniques in thyroid and parathyroid surgery
Purpose: This course will offer the latest information on the medical and surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid diseases, emphasizing minimally invasive surgical techniques through didactic lectures, panel discussions, live telesurgery and hands-on fresh cadaver laboratory practice.
Target Audience: This course is designed for practicing otolaryngologists, head and neck surgeons, endocrine surgeons and endocrinologists interested in state-of-the-art medical and surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid disorders.

Registration Fee Includes: The registration fee includes a course syllabus containing supplemental material and abstracts of the presentations. If registering to attend a dissection lab, the registration fee is for the lectures and ONE cadaver dissection lab. (The three-hour lab session is limited to 20 participants per day for a maximum of 40 total lab participants.) NO cancellation refunds will be made after July 15, 2011; half will be refunded before that date. The Augusta Otolaryngology Educational Foundation cannot be responsible for reimbursement of airline or other transportation fares, hotel or rental car charges, including penalties.
